Great news from the U.S. House! (Brush up on literary skills...)

There is super great news that the House of Representatives has passed a new bill which includes money for nontraditional students going back to (high) school who need to take courses in basic literary skills. This could help lots of people qualify to apply to trade school or college afterwards.

This is news that a lot of people are going to be glad about.

I found out about it at Deb's Continuing Education Blog here:
House passes bill appropriating money...

She goes on to say that this bill could be funding GED grants in your area soon. The money is earmarked for basic literary skills for over three million adults.

Thanks for the great news, Deb!
